Join TurningPointNZ for a unique Yoga & Mindfulness Retreat in the scenic splendor of the Marlborough Sounds. Spend a weekend of being deeply mindful and connecting with your inner peace and stillness.

This uniquely beautiful waterfront lodge is a tranquil and peaceful oasis. Set in a delightful garden, you will only hear the soothing sounds of nature.

In between classes, you can enjoy your free time exploring the Nydia Track, swimming, kayaking, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing with a book, lying in a hammock, or watching the stars at night around a comforting fire.

Escape to the beautiful Nydia Bay for a fantastic time out weekend.

You will leave feeling restored and rebalanced.

  • The lodge provides two delicious dinners and two fresh homemade packed lunches.
  • Breakfasts are not included. (Please bring your breakfast or arrange your breakfast with the Lodge at an extra cost of $17.50 per meal, per person)

Departing Havelock: Friday, at 2 pm by water taxi

Departing Nydia Bay: Sunday, at 1 pm by water taxi

Cost: $685 pp (single non-ensuite cabin or chalet)

Space is limited to nine people, so please book now to avoid disappointment.

A $140 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.

Full payment is due by 4 March 2021. If the retreat does not go ahead because of numbers or COVID restrictions, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit.

  • 2 pm Water taxi transport from Havelock
  • 4 – 6 pm Introduction and Yoga class
  • 6.30 pm Dinner
  • 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm Mindfulness and sharing


  • 7.30 am – 9.00 am Yoga class
  • 9.00 am – 10.00 am Breakfast
  • 10.00 am to 11.00 am Mindfulness
  • 11.00 am to 4 pm free time
  • 4 pm – 5.30 pm Yoga class
  • 6.30 pm Dinner
  • 7.30 pm Mindfulness and sharing


  • 7.30 am – 9.00 am Yoga class
  • 9.00 am – 10.00 am Breakfast
  • 10.00 am Check out of cabins
  • 10.15 am – 11.15 am Workshop
  • 11.15 am to 11.45 am Closing meditation
  • 11.45 – 12.30 pm Closing thoughts
  • 12.30 pm Lunch
  • 1.00 pm Water taxi transport to Havelock

Please be aware, the jetty is an easy 15 minute (quite lovely) walk to/from the Lodge front door, guests need to carry their own luggage and make their way there by foot.  The path is unsealed with some tree roots and can be damp if there’s been rain.  When you get off the boat, take a left turn along the Nydia Track and follow the track to the Lodge.
